Geography has never been more important in making our students understand an ever changing world. The subject helps show the natural and human processes that have shaped our plant in the past, present and most importantly, the future.  As students will be moving in a globalised society, it is important that they appreciate the social, economic and environmental challenges that will need to be addressed in our modern interconnected world.  The department vision is to help students realise that if they are interested in the world, they are interested in Geography.

Our team of teachers is experienced, dynamic and committed to helping all students fulfil their potential at all levels.  The Department aims for give a broad and excellent awareness into our changing world not only in the classroom, but with fieldwork and trips in all key stages, including using the local environments and Nettlecombe Court.
