Training and Development

The Misbourne is committed to developing our staff to their full potential.  We place high importance on training and collaboration in what can often be a very fast-paced environment. Taking time to reflect, evaluate and plan together is paramount. Therefore, all departments have regular team meetings and the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, through an extensive internal CPDL programme personalised to meet their needs and off-site training where appropriate.

We place great importance in educational research and only implement what we feel will make the biggest difference to the lives and outcomes of our young people. As such we are seen as a key provider of initial teacher training in the local area and regularly share good practice across Buckinghamshire through the Astra School-Centred Teacher Training Alliance. 

We know that our fantastic CPDL programme benefits our students, individual members of staff and the whole school.
